Now, imagine Anmol’s Bihari Marinade infused into tender beef strips, shredded to perfection, and wrapped in warm toasted tortillas.
BAM! You just unlocked a whole new level of fusion cuisine.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef strips (flank steak or skirt steak works best)
- 3 tablespoons Anmol Bihari Marinade
- 4-6 oz cooking oil (divided: 2-3 oz for cooking beef, 2-3 oz for toasting tortillas)
- 10-12 flour or corn tortillas
- 4 oz small diced red onion
- 1 oz finely chopped cilantro
- 3 oz Anmol Tamarind or Cilantro Chutney (choose based on flavor preference: sweet or savory)
Optional Toppings
- Shredded cheese
- Sliced avocados
- Sour cream
- Salsa verde
Method
Step 1: Marinate the Beef
- Coat beef strips evenly with Anmol Bihari Marinade in a bowl.
-
Cover and refrigerate for 12-24 hours for the best flavor and tenderness.
Step 2: Slow-Cook the Beef
🔥 Stovetop Method:
- Heat 2-3 oz cooking oil in a deep pan or Dutch oven over low heat.
- Add the marinated beef and let it cook slowly for 45-60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- The beef should become tender and juicy.
⚡ Instant Pot Method:
- Use the Slow Cook setting for 45-60 minutes OR
-
Pressure cook on high for 20-25 minutes, followed by a quick release.
Step 3: Shred the Beef
- Once the beef is tender, increase the heat to high and stir continuously.
- Using two forks or tongs, shred the beef without losing its juices—that’s where the flavor is!
Step 4: Toast the Tortillas
- In a pan/skillet, lightly toast tortillas with a small amount of oil for 30-60 seconds per side until golden brown.
- Alternatively, place tortillas directly on an oven rack at 350°F for 2-3 minutes for a crispier texture.
Step 5: Assemble Your Tacos
- Place a generous layer of shredded beef onto each tortilla.
- Choose your sauce:
🔥 Tamarind Chutney → for a sweet, tangy kick.
🌿 Cilantro Chutney → for a bold, savory bite.
Step 6: Garnish & Serve
- Sprinkle diced red onion & fresh cilantro over each taco.
-
Optional: Add shredded cheese, avocado slices, sour cream, or salsa verde for extra layers of flavor.
Serving Suggestions
